Formal Castle Couples
Your Love Story
Between the pages of life, we are often blessed with a “Love Story” to tell. At Louisiana Castle, that’s the moment we receive the opportunity to transition modern-day fairytales to a place where Dreams Come True! Celebrating our own winning of Awards this year for “Best of Weddings” and “Couples Choice Awards” from The Knot and Wedding Wire, we have decided to share our blessing with you, our Castle Couples. Each year we are challenging our previous Castle Couples to share “your love story!” We want to know how you met your Castle spouse, what led you down the road to the Castle, and what has transpired since your wedding day!
January 1 – February 11 of each year, we will accept your love story, written in a copy/paste format sent to the email below. This story must include pictures of you and your spouse during your wedding at the castle as well as additional pictures that tell your story. (How you met, where you were engaged, if you’ve had children, etc.) This gives you 6 weeks to send in your nomination. However, we recommend you go ahead and get started now so you have it prepared and do not get caught last minute like several did this year.

You may enter each year until you win!
Winning Castle Couple receives a free night in the Juliet Suite, following the rules set forth by the Castle.
Winning Castle Couple is displayed on our website as the Castle Couple for that year!
All format must be followed in accordance to how to submit your story.
- Copy and Paste ability of your “Love Story”
- Between 750-3,000 words
- Castle (your wedding) must be detailed in the story
- Pictures must be included to emphasize your story
- Waiver signed to allow us to use your pictures and story on the site
- Must follow Castle guidelines set forth by Dolly for your stay
- Cannot have won from a previous year
- Cannot be affiliated with the Castle in any way. IE: Our Creative Designer and Coordinator/Manager and their families are excluded from entering
We have chosen an unbiased group of women to vote on the stories for the winner. Winners will be announced on Valentines and the goal to have the page for the Castle Couple display is set for March 1. (Due to this being our first year for this, we have changed dates.)
