Your wedding will be one of the most memorable events in your life. Louisiana Castle wants to take a moment to emphasize how vital it is to select a photographer who is experienced with weddings. As wedding experts, we want to stress, photographs and video are not a place to cut corners. We’ve been at this for over 25 years, so we have seen it all. There are many excellent photographers who are accustomed to working in studios or with static art. Your wedding is not the time to hire those with such talent, or to have “Uncle Bob” take pictures because he’s glued to his camera and is “pretty good” at it. Your wedding will be fast-paced and people are constantly moving where the lighting changes at each angle. Although we cannot guarantee any vendors’ performance or your satisfaction, we wish to stress we have worked extensively with all the photographers listed below and have known our clients to be delighted with the results. In addition, these photographers are familiar with our Castle, understand any indoor and outdoor lighting issues, know the favorite spots for your photographs, and they know the grounds well. Time management is imperative. Should you hire a photographer who has never photographed here, we recommend you send them to the sites associated with the photographers below so they can get a feel for the grounds, ballroom, and throne room.
